Well, I'm Not Paranoid

At least, not about this.

Since my blog is largely about my journey to frugality and simplicity and uses clean language, I thought I was a perfect candidate for the 'Frugal Blogroll.' I applied, but heard nothing. I thought I'd done something wrong in the application process, so I tried again. Still nothing.

Now that there are so many blogs on there to compare mine with, I can pretty much surmise why I've been ignored and why the organizers should be a little, ahem, precise/truthful in their advertisements, ie. non-Christians need not apply.

Pity, my blog is no different from a lot of the Christian-owned ones, filled with little domesticities, a healthy does of spirituality, and some good old frugality.

*shrugs*

Some of the Xtian references are really too much. Yours is the first PF blog by an occultist I've found. I for one, like it! You seem so very genuine. I don't have a financial blog myself to share, I just write everything and anything in my livejournal.

All the best.

Hmm, I've never been called an 'occultist' before. I find it interesting to see how 'outsiders' view my faith and my beliefs.

I'm glad that you're enjoying my blog; it's been so much easier to be 'genuine' since embracing the goddess and god because I'm not denying my true nature.

Cheers!

Oh, I am an occultist (Thelemite primarily) myself and consider anyone that is involved in wicca, yoga (beyond just attending fitness classes), voudon. .anything to do with the investigation of the true nature of the universe, to be an occultist. Occult = hidden, i.e. not superficial or involved with just the surface level of reality. It's just my general catch-all term for groups of people like us; I assume you actually look into things and don't just blindly follow sets of rules :)

I forgot that I told you I had an LJ already, just went back now and read your reply to that! Sorry, didn't mean to be repetitive :)

Thelemite? *googles* Oh. Revived by Aleister Crowley? Then not so far from Wicca. Hmm.

I completely agree with your definition and application of occultism!

If I was the sort to just accept dogma blindly, I'd be a Catholic nun, and this said with absolutely no levity.
