Nice While It Lasted...

Yesterday, the temps dropped to the single digits and then went to below freezing overnight. It was 0 when I woke up this morning.

I guess that our brief summery spell right dab in the middle of April was just a treat from the gods for surviving such a nasty winter and that we'd better get used to 'normal' weather progression again.

Tomorrow is (already) May 1st, so the temps can just climb. It's just that for several weeks my house has been steadily 20 degrees and it dropped to 16 overnight. BRR. I pulled out my flannel jammies again!

Sheesh, this has been a crazy winter (spring?). I'm in Spokane and we had several feet of snow, which isn't that common. It was still snowing sporadically up until a couple weeks ago too. I guess I won't complain though, as your weather is colder.

I don't mind the cold so much as as the ice. I enjoy being outdoors in the winter, but my city doesn't maintain the streets very well, so I hadn't been able to go out for walks for months. Sucked.

Not as cold here but not much better either. I had to take out all my baby's winter clothes after having packed them away, blargh. I hope it warms up for good soon!
